Our next quiz night will be on Friday, March 19, starting at 7.15 with teams up to a maximum of six people. We hope to see you then for what is sure to be another enjoyable night.
The club is always on the lookout for interesting entertainment ideas.
Our entertainment committee members are Karen Chambers, Sarah Whitfield, Linda Woods, Kerry Woods, David Hughes and John Major.
Once a month, on the first Monday evening of the month, you can come and enjoy modern Jazz in the club hall.The evenings are arranged by the Mick Collins Modern Jazz Orchestra.
On the first Spring Bank holiday money, the orchestra are putting on a special Big Bank Evening. Don't miss it!
The Monday sessions last from 8.30pm to 10.45pm and the entrance charge is £6.
The band has four trumpets, five saxes, piano, bass and drums.
It plays the music of Horace Silver, Thad Jones, Bill Holman and Thelonious Monk and of talented British composers including Kenny Wheeler and Ray Manderson.
